So, Your Pond Has A Problem?

Unfortunately, repairs aren’t as straight-forward as any of our other services…

If our crystal ball were working properly, diagnosing a pond repair would be simple. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy and there’s a few steps involved. We can give virtual estimates over the phone based off pictures and comparing to past projects.

When repairs in a new-to-us pond are needed, and you’re not sure what the problem is either, we typically start with a Pond Exploratory Drain and Cleaning to get your pond examined from the bottom up in a systematized way and find a solution.

Maybe you’re not ready for a full exploratory, but you’d rather an in-person discovery visit. We can perform a surface level discovery visit which starts at $95 for a pond professional to check out your water feature and give you options for next steps.

Whichever option you choose, we can get started with the details of your repair and some pictures to get you a FREE estimate!

Common Repairs

  • Skimmer box openings wear down with the constant water passing through. Over time, the seal around the faceplate has a tendency to develop leaks. This service is for resealing the faceplate so your skimmer can keep skimming!

  • Skimmer boxes in Minnesota have the tendency to “heave” up through years of freeze/thaw cycles pushing the skimmer box up. This can leave your pump high and dry as it is sucking in more air than water. This service is for pulling the skimmer box and resetting back into proper place.

  • Over time, the constant wear and tear, freeze/thaw cycles, and perpetual water pulling all sorts of debris through your skimmer can break it down beyond repair. When this happens, it can be time to replace. This service is for replacing your old skimmer box with a brand new skimmer box and making all the connections again so your water feature can keep on running!

  • With everyday use, pumps finally burn out and go kaput. When this happens, getting a new pump in fast keeps algae from blooming and your fish from dying. This service is for replacing your burnt out pump with a new pump.

  • When you find a hole in your liner, that doesn’t have to spell disaster for your water feature. If you know the location of the hole, a professional repair can be made and you’ll be good to go again!

  • When you find a large hole or tear in your liner, that doesn’t have to spell disaster for your water feature. If you know the location of the hole or tear, a professional repair can be made and you’ll be good to go again!

  • A liner is the basic foundation for your pond. Without a liner, your pond can’t reliably hold water. When it comes to replacing a liner, the water has to be pumped out, all the equipment has to be disconnected, and then rocks and plants and equipment pulled out and away so the liner can be removed. Then, this all happens in reverse as a new liner goes back in and everything else goes back into place. It’s almost like redoing your pond all over again two times over.

Let’s have a conversation about what this process looks like.
